Dons From Distance | Getting to Know Elliana Pogrebinsky

SAN FRANCISCO – Interns aren't usually as highly decorated as Elliana Pogrebinsky, but the Dons' strength and conditioning intern isn't a typical intern. Pogrebinsky is a competitive ice dancer, a two-time ISU Challenger Series Tallinn Trophy bronze medalist, and the 2016 Lake Placid Ice Dance International Champion.

In this episode of Dons From Distance Director of Creative Video, Katie Morgan, caught up with Pogrebinsky, a USF student who is set to graduate with her degree in Kinesiology in December.

The two discuss Pogrebinsky and her partner Alex Benoit's signature move, her background in ballroom dancing and gymnastics, her partnership with Benoit, the stress placed on female athletes to look a certain way, and her inspiration in creating a series titled "Women in Sports."
