CATCHING UP WITH COACH BARTLETT:
"We did a great job getting
Maria Martinez Vaquero, freshman
Simran Chhabra and
Caragh Courtney to the round of 16 in singles. Also having Maria and Rita getting to the quarterfinals in doubles is a good showing for a mid major in this regional. They played well throughout the tournament and lost a tough match to a strong Stanford team. Our northwest regional happens to be one of the strongest in the country so you always know you'll play some of the best competition in the country. All in all I feel like our program has improved our impact in the regional championship and usually this is a positive sign."
