SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The University of San Francisco men's tennis team defeated host Sacramento State Friday for the second time this season, coming from behind with four singles victories to win the match, 4-2, at the Sacramento State Tennis Courts.

Sacramento State (1-4) won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles by identical scores of 6-3. The Dons (3-0) went to work in the singles competition for the third straight match, winning all of the top-four spots.
Phuc Huynh delivered USF's first singles win at No. 4, sweeping Michael Vizcarra, 6-1, 6-3, tying the match at 1-1.
Paul Giraud won a competitive three-set match at No. 2 singles, beating the Hornets' Mark Keki, 6-2, 1-6, 6-2.

Sacramento State's Jan Silva swept
David Woodland at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-3, to tie the match at 2-2. It was wins at No. 1 singles by
Nitzan Ricklis (6-4, 6-3) and No. 3 singles by
Stevie Gould (6-3, 4-6, 7-5) that handed USF the match win.

"We did a great job recovering after losing the doubles point," said San Francisco head coach
JT Sundling. "We need to be better from the very first point and know what we need to work on moving forward. We're looking forward to our match with Fresno State, as it'll be a great test for our team."
