Molly Goodenbour is pleased to announce the addition of wing Kennedy Dickie, a 6-foot transfer from Eastern Washington who has signed a scholarship agreement to attend USF for the 2021-22 season.
Dickie is a two-time letter winner from Eastern Washington and an impact player that will help the Dons spread out the floor. She tallied 22 career games in double-figures two seasons including a pair of 20-point performance.
"Kennedy is a versatile and intelligent player who will bolster our depth at the 3/4 position," said Goodenbour. "She can knock down threes and will go rebound the basketball. We are really excited she chose USF and are looking forward to getting her on the court."
As a true freshman in 2019-20 she played in 24 games making 21 starts and averaged 9.5 points per game while shooting .381 from the field. She made 41 3-point field goals that season which ranks seventh all-time by a freshman at Eastern Washington. She led the Eagles in rebounding six times that season and ranked second on the team with 5.0 rebounds per contest.
As a sophomore she was even better. She shot .364 from the field and .330 from beyond the arc. Her 11.2 points per game was second on the team while her 5.6 rebounds per contest was tops on the team. She also dished out 1.3 assists per game and had 1.1 steals per contest last season.
As a prep, she averaged 20.5 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per contest. In 2019 she broke the 1,500-career point mark at her high school, while leading Kelowna Secondary School squad to a Senior Girls Provincial Championship in 2018. With her B.C. Provincial team, Dickie earned a silver medal at the U-15 Nationals in 2015 and a bronze medal at the U-17 Women's Nationals in 2018. She also helped her club team BC United win a USJN Indy-100 Tournament Championship.
