SAN MATEO, Calif. – University of San Francisco forward Nonso Adimabua has been named to the annual Preseason West Coast Conference All-WCC Team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning. The Dons were picked to finish seventh in the preseason poll.
The preseason poll and the All-WCC team were selected by a vote of the conference's eight head coaches. Coaches cannot vote for their own teams and student-athletes.
Adimabua, the 2020-21 WCC Freshman of the Year, highlights a talented and young USF squad, led by first year head coach Chris Brown. He led the Dons with 11 points on three goals and five assists. He also led USF with 10 shots on goal.
USF begins the Brown era this afternoon when San Jose State comes to the Hilltop for an exhibition match at 5:00 p.m. The game will include free admission and live stats will be available on the men's soccer schedule page.
