DONS AT A GLANCE:
- Last spring, the Dons placed fourth at the WCC Championships as a team, finishing just one stroke out of third place and eight shy of first place. Notably, three women finished in the top 10- Hannah Zeman (T-4th, three-over 75), Joan Soewondo (8th, two-over 74) and Annika Borrelli (9th, 78). Overall, USF also placed in the top-10 of all five of their tournaments last season.
- Earning postseason honors, Borrelli and Soewondo were both named to the 2021 All WCC First Team following the conclusion of the season. For Borrelli, it was her second all-conference award after being named to the First Team in 2019. In the classroom, the Dons impressed on a national scale as they were honored by the Women's Golf Association (WGCA) for having the 25th-highest rated team grade point average among all Division-I programs. Led by head coach Sara Doell, USF's student-athletes compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.82, which tied them for 25th with Rutgers. Additionally, four Dons earned All-WCC Academic Honors: Borrelli, Soewondo, Pearl Rojanapeansatith and Jade Siphomsay.
- Recently, Borrelli and Zeman were selected by the conference's five head coaches for the 2021-22 Preseason All-WCC Women's Golf Team. As a program, USF was picked to finish fourth out of five schools.

COACH'S OUTLOOK:
"With COVID-19 cancelling this event last year and us not competing the year prior to that, the team is really excited to get back to Coeur D'Alene and compete against a strong field that includes the 2021 WCC Champions and host Gonzaga. This course is all about placement off the tee and being smart with the shorter Par 5's as well as attacking the pins when we can. We have traditionally played well here and coming off of the best qualifying scores we have seen in the past 5 years, I know the team is ready to go!"- Head Coach
Sara Doell
