STOCKTON, Calif. -- As the fall 2022 men's tennis season reaches its final weekend, the USF Dons men's tennis program are heading west this Friday to compete at the 2022 Pacific Invitational this Friday at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
It's been a successful fall for the Dons' program as in their last time out as a team they were able to pair up with USF's women's team to take down Santa Clara at the Taube Challenge Cup two weekends ago in the South Bay.
Stevie Gould was the star of the show for USF against the Broncos last month as he was able to secure a singles victory to give the Dons a key point in the mixed match. Moritz Hoffmann had a tremendous performance in doubles as well as he teamed up with Maria Martinez Vaquero as USF was able to earn the doubles point when the pair knocked off Santa Clara's duo.
The last Don to compete competitively was
Nil Giraldez who qualified for the ITA Super Regionals after winning three consecutive matches in the ITA Regionals as he was USF's lone representative in the super regionals two weeks ago.
