UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – Participating in their final tournament before the WCC Championships, the University of San Francisco women's golf team finished eighth overall at the Chambers Bay Invitational at Chambers Bay Golf Club with a three-round total of 64-over-298.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Fresh off of winning WCC Women's Golfer of the Month, freshman standout Riana Mission led the Dons once again by finishing tied for eighth overall with a 6-over-222. Notably, this performance marked the fifth straight tournament and sixth time overall this year in which the Las Vegas native has finished in the top ten.
- Coming in a few spots behind Mission, Annika Borrelli finished in the top 25 for the third straight tournament and sixth time this year after totaling a three-round score of 14-over-230 to tie for twenty-fourth.
- Rounding out the five, Hannah Zeman tied for fifty-second with a 21-over-237, Jade Siphomsay tied for sixty-sixth with a 23-over-239 and Hannah Zeman tied for ninty-seventh with a 32-over-248.
UP NEXT:
USF will travel to the Las Vegas area as the Dons will compete in the 2022 West Coast Conference Championships at Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nev. from Thursday, Apr. 21 to Saturday, Apr. 23.
