- Blossoming into one of the top individuals in the country, freshman Riana Mission was recently awarded West Coast Conference Women's Golfer of the Month as she finished in the top eight in each tournament this spring. Notably, her highest finishes came at the Gunrock Invitational and the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, when she placed third overall in back-to-back tournaments. Overall, Mission is currently listed at No. 96 in Golfstat's Top 100 rankings heading into the weekend.
- Last time out, four of the five WCC teams competing this weekend participated at the Chambers Bay Invitational on Apr. 11 + 12: BYU (sixth), Gonzaga (fifteenth), Pepperdine (third) and USF (eighth). Last year, Gonzaga captured the WCC crown for the first time in program history as the Bulldogs outdueled Pepperdine in a second playoff hole to earn the title.
