SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Following a weekend split with a win over Santa Clara and a loss at Washington, the USF Dons women's tennis team (11-8, 4-3) is back in action Friday morning as they welcome the Loyola Marymount Lions to the Hilltop for the final regular season match of the season.
The action begins at 11:00 a.m. at Golden Gate Park as Friday's matches will also serve as Senior Day for the USF program.
USF took care of business on the road last week in their final conference road match defeating the Santa Clara Broncos 6-1 in a strong team performance that helped catapult the Dons up the conference standings heading into next week's WCC Conference Championships in Ojai, Calif.
The Dons and Lions haven't competed against each other since the 2019 season with USF's last victory over LMU as a team coming on April 22, 2016 as the Dons were able to take the 4-1 victory playing on their home court.
