OJAI, Calif. -- Returning to postseason play for the first time in six years, the USF Dons men's tennis team battled hard but ultimately fell short to the Portland Pilots 4-1 at the OVAC Courts at the WCC Championships Friday afternoon.Â
The Pilots won the initial team doubles point and then went on to win three singles matches to secure the four points necessary to win.
Nil Giraldez won his singles match in two sets for secure USF's first point on Thursday.
