LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Opening up the team's 2023 spring season on a nice note, the USF Dons men's tennis team (1-0) picked up their first victory of the season on Thursday morning with a 4-1 victory over the UC San Diego Tritons. The Dons then wrapped up their day with an exhibition match against the Point Loma Lions that won't count for the team's standings.
The Dons took care of business in their doubles matches winning two of three matches to earn the first of the day and then went on to win four of the five completed matches against the Tritons.

UP NEXT:
The Dons will continue their swing through San Diego the rest of the weekend as they will face the San Diego Aztecs on Saturday afternoon before competing in their first WCC match of the season against the San Diego Toreros on Sunday.
