SEATTLE, Wash. -- Returning to the course following a one week hiatus, the USF Dons women's indoor track and field team put together a strong overall meet as they competed at the 2023 Husky Classic on Friday and Saturday from Dempsey Indoor at the University of Washington campus.
Leading the way for the Dons this weekend was tremendous racing from both
Ruby Smee and
Hannah Anderson competing in the 5,000 meter run on Friday. Anderson was able to best her previous best time by 43 total seconds, while Smee's mark was good enough for second all-time in the program's history.

"It was a strong weekend for our team to start with Hannah and Ruby racing very well in the 5K tonight. Hannah's time was a 43 second personal best while Ruby's mark was her second fastest her and the number two all time in USF history."
