BERKELEY/STANFORD, Calif. -- Following two weeks away from competition, the USF Dons men's tennis team (1-4) are back to work tomorrow for a doubleheader within the Bay Area as they will face off with the California Golden Bears (4-2) at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 from the Hellman Tennis Center, then will venture down to the South Bay to take on the Stanford Cardinal (7-4) at 3:00 p.m. from the Taube Family Tennis Center.
The Dons are seeking to return to their winning ways this weekend as they've dropped four consecutive matches since the team's season opening win over UC San Diego on the road in February.
In their last match, USF came up shy to the Cal Poly Mustangs on the road by a 6-1 final score, as
Moritz Hoffmann picked up the victory to account for the Dons' lone point in San Luis Obispo.
Saturday's match against the Golden Bears will be the first time the Dons have faced the East Bay foe since the 2017-18 season, with USF seeking to end a four match losing streak against Cal. USF faced off with the Cardinal last March by a 6-1 final score with
Stevie Gould winning his singles match to give the Dons their lone point down on the Farm last season.
