SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Coming back from five road matches in a row, the University of San Francisco Dons women's tennis team (3-3) are back in town to play at the California Tennis Club where they will face the UC Davis Aggies (3-6) on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1:00 p.m.
In the Dons last outing against Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo on Feb. 19, they secured a team victory by a 4-1 final score. Notably, Arianna Capogrosso and Chiho Mushika won their doubles match 6-3 and then individually grabbed a win in their singles games as well. In the singles group for USF, Azaria Hayes also recorded an individual win in her match winning 6-4, 7-6 to boost the team's overall score.
This match will mark the 15th time these two programs have played each other. In the long series history, the Dons lead the Aggies 9-5 overall. In their last competition, the Dons claimed a 4-3 victory playing at Davis on 2/11/22.
