BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Back at it and ready to kick off their spring season, the University of San Francisco women's golf team will head south to Bakersfield to begin the week as they compete in The Valley Invitational at Bakersfield Country Club.

DONS AT A GLANCE:

• Returning to action five tournaments this spring, the Dons will aim to build off of a successful fall as USF earned two top six finishes last semester. Notably, the green and gold placed fourth overall at the Golf Iconic Classic in Las Cruces, N.M. from Oct. 3-5 while also finishing sixth overall at the Coeur D'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational in Coeur D'Alene, ID from Sept. 18-20.
• Individually, Eva Pett is hungry to continue her strong freshman year after tallying her first top ten finish at the collegiate level when she tied for sixth overall at the Golf Iconic Classic with a 2-under-214.
• Notably, team captain Jade Siphomsay will begin her last semester of competition on the Hilltop when she tees off on Monday morning.
• Looking to climb the leaderboard with each opportunity, USF currently sits at No. 117 in Golfstat's NCAA Division I women's team rankings as of Sunday, Feb. 5.
