LAHAINA, HI -Staying strong throughout their three days of play, the University of San Francisco women's golf team finished eighth overall as a team (11-over-875) at the Ānuenue Spring Break Classic at Ka'anapali Royal Golf Course to begin the week.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

Leading the pack for the green and gold once again, Riana Mission notched her fourth top fifteen finish of the year by finishing seventh overall with a three-round score of 5-under-211 (71, 69, 71). Notably, Mission was tied for the lead in Par 4 scoring (-6) while also tallying the fifth-most birdies (11). Climbing each day, the sophomore was tied for fourteenth after the first round before climbing to eighth on day two and finishing in the top seven.
Putting together her best performance of the year, Yvonne Shang tied for 21^st overall by shooting 2-over-218 (72, 70, 76) across her three rounds. Impressively, her 12 birdies tied for the fourth-most in the field.
Tallying her second-best finish of the year, Hannah Zeman tied for 40th overall with a 7-over-223 (75, 76, 72). Overall, her 39 total pars tied for the second most in the tournament.
Rounding out the lineup, Toni Sottile tied for 48^th overall with a 10-ver-226 (74, 77, 75) and while Jade Siphomsaytied for 55^th overall with a 12-over-228 (77, 74, 77).

CATCHING UP WITH COACH DOELL:
"What an amazing experience we had in Maui. After coming out of the rainy weather in the last few weeks and being forced into our indoor facilities, the team performed very well. Riana did what Riana does! With another top ten finish, she seems to be peaking at the correct time as we head towards Silverado and then the conference championship. Yvonne had a solid performance with a tied for 21st and played really well. She looks strong and I'm excited to see what she can do the rest of the season. We were able to shoot three rounds lower than our scoring average, and that gives us a lot of confidence as we head towards Silverado."

Closing out their regular season schedule with one final tournament, USF will remain in Northern California as they will head to Napa for the Chevron Silverado Showdown at Silverado Country Club. On from Apr. 3 through Apr. 5. Live results will be available via the team's schedule page.
