SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Finishing up their first weekend of home matches on the season, the USF Dons men's tennis team (2-13, 0-5) battled hard before ultimately coming up shy to the Portland Pilots (8-7, 2-2) by a final score of 4-2 on Saturday afternoon from the Goldman Tennis Center.
After the Dons dropped the initial team doubles point, USF's
Moritz Hoffmann and
Nikola Kuraica continued their strong weekend as each won their individual singles matches to account for both USF points as well as pairing up to win their doubles match against Portland.
