SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The USF Dons women's tennis team (11-6, 3-2) returns home to the Goldman Tennis Center at Golden Gate Park to face the San Diego Toreros (9-6, 3-0) on Saturday, April 8, at 2:00 p.m.
The Dons are coming off a busy week, with their last times out they secured two wins against Long Beach State and against the Portland Pilots before their first loss against the Gonzaga Bulldogs to end their seven match winning streak.
Boosting their season stats, Chiho Mushika has increased her singles record to an impressive 11-5 and Arianna Capogrosso now holds a winning singles record at 9-5 overall. Additionally, in doubles, Arianna Capogrosso and Rita Colyer improved their record as a pair to 6-3.
San Diego is currently second in WCC standings with a 3-0 conference record and USF is tied for fourth place with their record of 3-2. Against the Toreros, the Dons trail in their overall program's history with a record of 4-14. In their last outing, the Dons fell short against the Toreros with a final score of 5-2 on April 24, 2022.
