LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Highlighted by an
Eva Pett first-place individual finish, the University of San Francisco women's golf team set a 54-hole program record, earning first place with a 41-under-par 823 at The Clash at Boulder Creek Tuesday afternoon at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- San Francisco nearly led wire-to-wire during the three-day event, finishing the final tournament of the fall portion of the 2024-25 season in first place at 41-under-par. The Dons shot 10-under-par or lower in every round while leading the 17-team field in birdies (69) and in Par 5s (-21).
- Pett recorded her first-ever individual title, earning a share of first place with a 15-under-par 201 with Fresno State's Vunnisa Vu. Pett also recorded her best-ever score at the collegiate level, posting under-par in all three rounds while leading the 96-player field in total birdies with 18.
- Riana Mission and Yvonne Shang shined as the duo earned top-10 finishes. Mission grabbed seventh place at 10-under-par 206, while Shang secured a share for ninth with a six-under-par 210.
- Remaining steady throughout the tournament, Rodaylin Mina shot an even-par 216 for her best-ever finish in her career. Mina, ending in a tie for 31st, totaled 10 birdies, with eight coming in the second and third rounds.
- Jolie Chee rose up the player leaderboard on the final day, shooting a season-best eight-under-par in round three to finish the event in a tie for 41st with a two-over-par 218.
UP NEXT:
Concluding its four-tournament slate during the fall on a high note, San Francisco returns to the course on Monday, Feb. 24 – Tuesday, Feb. 25, when it competes in The Causeway Invitational, hosted by UC Davis, at Del Paso Country Club.
