SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (USF) Athletics department announced today that the 1997 USF women's golf team will be inducted into the USF Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the upcoming Class of 2026.

This class marks the first set of new inductees since Feb. 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2026 class, which is USF's 47^th group of inductees, features Bill Downing (Baseball/1970-1973), Joel DeBortoli (Men's Basketball/1987-1990), Rob Valentino (Men's Soccer/2004-2007), Fiona O'Sullivan (Women's Soccer/2004-2007), Taylor Proctor (Women's Basketball/2012-2016) and John Troccoe (Special Category/Class of 1970), and the 1997 women's golf team.

With the addition of the new members, USF's Athletics Hall of Fame now comprises 290 individuals and 25 teams.

The Father Hub Flynn Hall of Fame Celebration is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026, at the McLaren Conference Center on the main campus of USF. The festivities will begin with a social hour reception from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, followed by the Hall of Fame Program from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Attire is business casual. Inductees will also be honored at halftime of the USF men's basketball game vs. Washington State later that day, with the game beginning at 4:00 pm inside War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.
