NAPA, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team concluded the 2024-25 regular season with a 13th-place finish at the Silverado Showdown Wednesday afternoon at Silverado Country Club.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Riana Mission led San Francisco throughout the three-day tournament, shooting a two-under-par 214 and placing tied for eighth out of 88 competitors. Totaling her best round on the event's second day, Mission rose 25 places on the leaderboard while recording a round-best five-under-par 67. In the second round on Tuesday, Mission finished with five birdies and the team's lone eagle.
- Earning a tie for 28th, Eva Pett also competed well throughout the tournament with a five-over-par 221. Having success in the opening round, Pett shot an even-par 72 while accumulating four birdies.
- As a team, San Francisco ranked second among the 16 teams in Par 3s, shooting two-over par. Jolie Chee shot a team-best three-under-par on Par 3s, averaging 2.75 strokes per hole.
UP NEXT:
San Francisco begins postseason play when it competes in the West Coast Conference Championship beginning on Friday, Apr. 18.
