2026 Hall of Fame Class Spotlight: Fiona O'Sullivan

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (USF) Athletics department will begin a new spotlight series highlighting each member of the 2026 Hall of Fame class leading up to the induction ceremonies.

The third member of the upcoming class to be honored is women's soccer alumnus Fiona O'Sullivan, who spent four years on the Hilltop from 2004 to 2007.

FIONA O'SULLIVAN:

O'Sullivan was a four-year letter winner for the Dons from 2004-2007, scoring eight career goals, including a team-high five goals during the 2006 season despite missing half of the year with a knee injury. After graduating from USF with a degree in International Politics, she began her professional playing career, first being drafted by the California Storm of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) in 2009. She also suited up with the Storm in 2010, followed by stints with the Sonoma County Sol and Chicago Red Storm. O'Sullivan then ventured to Europe to keep competing, where she made 38 appearances with Ireland's National Team from 2009-15, scoring a total of 13 goals. In February 2011, she was named the Football Association of Ireland's (FAI) International Player of the Year. She is now the Director of Soccer and women's varsity soccer coach at San Dominico High School in San Anselmo, which is an international boarding school that houses students from Europe, Africa, and China. She also owns and operates the O'Sullivan Soccer Academy, which she began in 2000 when she was in high school. Currently, the academy averages 680-750 students per year, ranging from entry-level to elite players for boys and girls. Over the years, the academy has produced 10 Division I college players and two international Women's Team players (Zimbabwe, Mozambique).
