SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco beach volleyball team (6-7) earned two dual-match victories over Corben (Ore.) (13-2), 4-1, and Portland (4-7), 5-0, on Saturday at Hornet Beach.
 
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

• McKenna Towne and Branson Lennon highlighted the two days for San Francisco, serving as the lone players to earn three wins. Teaming up against Sacramento State at the first doubles flight, the duo earned a 21-18, 21-19 straight-set victory.
• Towne followed with two wins with Jia Lonardi at the first doubles flight over Corban (Ore.) and Portland, while Lennon picked up wins with Rylie Reeves at the second doubles flight.
• The win over Portland marked the first clean sweep for the green and gold this season, with every doubles flight earning a straight-set victory.
