BERKELEY, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's track and field programs kicked off the outdoor season in the East Bay, competing in the Cal Invitational on Saturday at Edwards Stadium.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- On the women's side, Rae Le Fay and Petra Helebrantová earned first-place finishes in their respective events, with Le Fay securing the top podium spot in the Women's 1500 meters with a time of 4:25.15, while Helebrantová finished first by just 0.38 seconds in the Women's 800 meters at 2:07.35.
- Ethan O'Shea nearly broke his personal best in the men's 1500 meters as he earned a second-place finish with a time of 3:48.93. Cole Fiegener impressed in the men's 800 meters, finishing in third place out of 32 competitors, at 1:52.99.
