Villegas Earns Top-15 Finish, Dons Finish Season at the WCC Championship

FAIRFIELD, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team concluded the West Coast Conference Championship in sixth place with a 38-over-par 902 on Monday afternoon at Green Valley Country Club.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

Erica Villegas paced San Francisco throughout the tournament, finishing the three-day event with a six-over par 22 (79-71-72), her lowest score of the season. Her tie for 11th place was also the first-ever top-15 finish of her career. Villegas impressed on Par 5s, shooting two-under par with a scoring average of 4.83.
Jolie Chee and Rodaylin Mina finished right behind Villegas in a tie for 16th and 20th, respectively. The duo was steady throughout the tournament, highlighted by a one-over par 73 performance by Mina in the first round.
Melia Gustavson and Eva Pett concluded the scoring for the Dons, with Gustavson finishing in a tie for 31st at 16-over par 232 and Pett in a tie for 34th with a 19-over par 235.
