Inaugural Dons Basketball Summer Showcase Set for Aug. 6

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - University of San Francisco (USF) Athletics announced today the inaugural Dons Basketball Summer Showcase, an exclusive first-look opportunity at the 2026-27 men's and women's basketball programs for USF season ticket holders on Thursday, Aug. 6.
The event, which is strictly for individuals who have already renewed their season tickets for the upcoming basketball seasons, invites loyal Dons fans to watch the men's and women's basketball teams practice on their home floor as they get ready for the upcoming year.
Doors to War Memorial at the Sobrato Center will open at 11:00 am, with USF women's basketball practice running from 11:00 am-12:00 pm, followed by USF men's basketball practice from 12:00-1:00 pm.
Fans will also have the opportunity for a "Meet and Greet" with players, coaches, and staff from both teams following the conclusion of each practice. Newly-appointed Director of Athletics Brent Blaylock is also scheduled to be on site.
USF men's basketball welcomes 13 new student-athletes to the roster, as well as returners Aidan Braccia and Ndewedo Newbury. Local Riordan phenoms Andrew Hilman and Jaroslavs Pihtovs are ready to get their collegiate careers underway, while a wave of international talent also joins the fold.
USF women's basketball returns five student-athletes from last year's team, including All-WCC First Team selection Candy Edokpaigbe and All-WCC Freshman selection Aina Cargol. The Dons will also feature eight new student-athletes on their roster.
