Dons Get Back in Win Column With Shutout of Wolf Pack

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (2-3-1) women's soccer team earned a 1-0 victory over Nevada on Sunday afternoon as Sydni Yoshida scored the game-winning goal in the 90th minute at Negoesco Stadium.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- San Francisco and Nevada battled through a scoreless opening half, with both sides generating opportunities but unable to find the breakthrough.
- The Dons came out aggressive in the second half as Hannah Burns and Yoshida each put shots on frame in the opening minutes, but Nevada goalkeeper Mia Collins kept the match level.
- San Francisco continued to apply pressure late in regulation as Burns and Alicia Osegueda each had shots blocked in the 90th minute.
- The Dons earned a corner immediately following the sequence before Yoshida found the back of the net at 89:34, firing home the game-winning goal to give San Francisco a 1-0 advantage.
