AT USF SPRING 2012: Played in seven events for the Dons... shot an average score of 77.95, second best on the team... carded two rounds of par or better for the season... posted five top-25 finishes for the Green and Gold... best finish was first place at the Wolf Pack Classic.
WOLF PACK CLASSIC - MEDALIST
AT USF FALL 2011: Competed in all four events for the Dons… captured first collegiate medalist honors at the Wolf Pack Classic at one-under 143 (73, 70)… finished 10th at both the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Invite and the Rose City Intercollegiate… carded two rounds at par or better… finished in the top-20 in all four events… led the squad in stroke average (75.55).
AT USF (2010-11): Contributed during first season in the Green and Gold… competed in eight tournaments for the Dons… enjoyed quite a debut recording first collegiate ace in the second round of first career collegiate event at the Circling Raven Collegiate Invitational… carded the ace on the 145 yard No. 13… it was the second career hole-in-one for the Finnish product… also carded one in a USF qualifying round on No. 8 at The Meadow Club… lowest round of the season came with a 75 in the opening round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational… best 54-hole tournament score was at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate at 233.
PREP/AMATEUR CAREER: Brings a strong resume of international amateur experience to a Dons team that qualified for NCAA Regional play for the third time in four seasons in 2010... a member of the Finland's Ladies National Team, she was her country's top player in the 2009 European Championships in Slovenia, carding a 3-over 149 (76, 73)... in the past year, her best single-round was a 2-under 69... an exceptional student, she lived in Spain for 12 years studying in an international school... a student at Finland's prestigious Tapiola High School, she speaks Finnish, English, Spanish, Swedish and Italian and owns an overall GPA of 3.75.
