2018 Track & Field: First-Team All-American in the 10,000 meters, finishing fifth at the NCAA Finals on June 6…Second-Team All-American in the 5,000 meters, racing to an 11th place finish in the finals on June 9…competed in both the 5,000 and 10,000 at the NCAA West Region Preliminary Championships, finishing third in the 10k semifinals on May 24 and 10th in the 5k semifinals on May 26…season debut in the 10,000 meters came at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (Apr. 28), finishing second overall to qualify for the NCAA regional…competed in the 5,000 meters at the Portland Twilight (May 11), finishing first overall with a mark of 15:52.84 to qualify for the NCAA regional.
2017 Cross Country: Competed in five races for the Dons in 2017...took second at the Roy Griak Invitational with a time of 21:12...took third in the Nuttycombe Invitational with a time of 19:40.2...crossed the line in first at the WCC Championships, setting a course record with a time of 19:10.5 to earn all-conference honors...finished first at the NCAA West Regionals with another course record of 19:14.18, leading the Dons to their highest ever Regional finish...finished third at the NCAA Championships, the highest finish by a USF runner, leading the Dons to their program best runner up team finish at the NCAAs and earning All-American honors...named to the WCC All-Academic team with a 4.0 cumulative grade-point average for the second consecutive year.
2017 Track & Field: 10,000 meter NCAA Champion, the first female national champion in school history … All-American … CoSIDA Academic All-American … 2017 USF Anne Dolan Outstanding Female Athlete Award … competed in both the 5,000 and 10,000 at the NCAA West Region Preliminary Championships, finishing fourth in the 10K semifinals on May 25 and 15th in the 5K semifinals on May 27 … raced to the fastest 10K time in the NCAA during the season on March 31 at the Stanford Invitational … mark of 32:11.80 good for the fastest in 2017 by a collegian as well as a USF record … shattered the 5,000 meter school record with a time of 15:29.07 and a 13th place finish at the Payton Jordan Invitational on May 5.
2016 Cross Country: USF All-American … competed in five meets of the season for the Dons, helping USF attain a sixth place finish at the NCAA Championships … earned a top 10 individual finish in each race she finished … Finished third at the USF Invitational to open the year, and took eighth at the Griak Invitational on Sept. 24 to lead the team to sixth … again helped the squad to a sixth place finish at the Wisconsin Invitational, taking 10th individually with a time of 20:22.2 on Oct. 14 … raced to second at the NCAA West Regionals, clocking in with a season-best mark of 19:40.3 as the squad took third on Nov. 11 … took 10th at the NCAA Championships running the 6K course in 20:02.7 on Nov. 19, leading the Dons to their highest-ever NCAA team finish and earning All-American status … named to the WCC All-Academic team with a 4.0 cumulative grade-point average.
2016 Track & Field: NCAA Championships finalist in the 10,000 meters, taking 17th place in the competition … opened her USF career on the track with a NCAA regional qualifying time in the 10,000 m of 33:25.09 at the Stanford Invitational on April 1, taking fifth in the field … turned in a winning performance and season-best 5,000 m time of 16:05.88 at the Stanford Twilight on April 22 … finished 12th in the NCAA West Region Preliminary Championships with a mark of 34:32.82 to advance to the finals.
2015 Cross Country: Named to the All-West Coast Conference team after taking 8th place at the WCC Championships, finishing with a time of 21:22.8 ... also a member of the All-West Region team, taking 23rd at the West Regionals with a time of 21:11.3 ... placed 118th at the NCAA Championships, completing the course in 20:58.9 ... opened up her Dons career with a 4th place finish in the Boise State dual meet, finishing the 6K course in 21:11.4 ... took 14th place at the Roy Griak Invitational with a time of 21:54.8 ... ran her fastest time of the year at Pre-Nationals, finishing in 20:46.1 for a 50th place finish to pace the Dons.
High School/Prep/International and Personal: Finished sixth individually and help Great Britain to the team title at the 2017 Senior European Cross Country Championships in Samorin, Slovakia, posting a time of 27:23 on Dec. 9...finished fourth individually and helped Great Britain to the team title at the 2016 U23 European Cross Country Championships in Chia, Italy on Dec. 11, clocking in at 19:44 ... won the U-20 International Triathlon Union Olympic Distance World Triathlon Championships... ran for the Nene Valley Harries from 2006-2015...personal bests include: 2:12.2 (800m), 4:31.24 (1500m), 9:40.01 (3000m), 16:54.00 (5000m), 35:22.44 (10000m)...daughter of Barrie and Julie Taylor...her sister, Sophie, competes in swimming and wheelchair racing at Loughborough University...coached by Arthur Simmonds and David Clay...enjoys traveling in her free time ... earned a bachelor's of science in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics before coming to USF to study international and development economics.
