2018 Track & Field: Competed at the NCAA West Region Preliminary Championships in the 10,000 meters, finishing 42nd in the semifinal round of the competition…raced in five of the Dons races in the 1,500m, 5,000m and 10,000…posted a season best mark of 29:29.18 in the 10,000m at the Stanford Invite…he posted a season best mark of 3:54.33 in the 1,500 to finish sixth overall.
2017 Cross Country: Competed in three of the five meets for the Dons this season...raced to two top 10 finishes...at the USF Invitational he placed fourth...was the second Don to cross the line at Roy Griak Invitational, finishing ninth with a time of 25:22...ran a season-best time of 24:23.5 at the Nuttycombe Invitational, finishing 57th...earned WCC All-Academic honors.
2017 Track & Field: Competed at the NCAA West Region Preliminary Championships in the 5,000 meters, finishing 38th in the semifinal round of competition … raced seven times for the Dons in the 1,500 and 5,000 meter distances … recorded a personal best mark of 14:05.06 for an 11th place finish in the 5,000 meters at the Oxy Invitational on May 6 … posted a time of 3:53.06 to take sixth in the 1,500 meters at the West Coast Last Chance on May 13.
2016 Cross Country: Competed in all five meets for the Dons on the season … ran a season-best 8K time of 24:49.4 at Pre-Nationals on Oct. 15 taking 47th individually and helping USF to ninth … the Pre-Nats time was the fourth-fastest 8K by a Don in 2016 … finished 49th individually with a 10K mark of 30:39.6 as the Dons turned in their best regional performance in program history, taking eighth … the Regionals time was the fourth-fastest 10K by a USF runner during the season ... also competed at the USF Invitational, Griak Invitational and WCC Championships, scoring points for the Dons in each race of the year.
High School/Prep/International and Personal: Graduated from the Mark Rutherford School in 2013 before matriculating to the University of Birmingham … member of the gold-medal winning squad at the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Cross Country Championships in 2015 ... twice represented England on the country’s junior national cross country team ... son of Doug and Rachel Alcock … born Sept. 19, 1994, in Bedford, England.
