2017 Cross Country: Competed in all six races for the Dons in 2017...she had four top 10 finishes...finished third in the Roy Griak Invitational with a time of 21:29....took 11th at the Nuttycombe Invitational, posting a time of 20:02.9...earned all-conference honors, finishing 3rd at the WCC Championships with a time of 19:40.2...raced to a season-best time of 19:35.54 at the NCAA West Regional to finish in seventh to earn USTFCCCA All-West Region, helping the Dons to their highest ever Regional finish...finished 15th at the NCAA Championships to earn All-American honors and help USF to their program best runner up finish in the NCAAs.
2017 Track & Field: Finished 27th at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships in the 10,000 meter semifinals on May 25 … turned in personal bests on four occasions during the year, in three different distances … raced to a 3,000 meter time of 9:47.39 around the indoor oval at the UW Invitational on Jan. 28 … competed in the 1,500 meters one time, taking first at the Aggie Open on March 11 with a mark of 4:31.30 … qualified for the NCAA Regional field with a personal best 10K mark of 33:44.11 at the Stanford Invitational on March 31, the third-fastest 10K of the year … raced to a 5,000 meter personal best of 16:27.61 to finish sixth at the Oxy Invitational on May 6 … stands in third on USF’s all-time list of Top 10 performers at the 10K distance.
2016 Cross Country: Competed in three meets for the Dons, all post-season competitions, helping USF to a sixth place national finish … took 17th at the WCC Championships on Oct. 28 … finished 35th individually with a 6K time of 20:25.5 as the women earned third at the NCAA West Regional on Nov. 11 … was the fourth Don to cross the line at the NCAA Championships on Nov. 19 where USF earned its highest-ever NCAA finish.
2016 Track & Field: Raced to a season-best mark in the 10,000 meters on April 14 at the Mt. SAC Relays, covering the distance in 35:37.63 … closed the year with a season-best in the 5,000 m crossing the line in 16:32.43 to take second at the West Coast Last Chance on May 14.
High School/Prep/International and Personal: Daughter of Michael and Marlene Brauer ... took 6th individually at the 2017 U23 European Cross Country Championships in Samorin, Slovakia, turning in a time of 21:09...earned fourth at the European Cross Country Championships as a member of the U23 Swedish national team...took 22nd individually at the 2016 U23 European Cross Country Championships in Chia, Italy on Dec. 11, turning in a time of 20:34 ... earned second place at the European Cross Country Championships as a member of the junior Swedish national team ... participated in gymnastics, soccer, tennis, badminton, horse riding and street dancing before dedicating her time to track and field...enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and painting in her free time.
