2005 ALL-WEST COAST CONFERENCE FIRST TEAMGENERAL CAPSULE: Talented pitcher andoutfielder...looked to as a leader both in the field and on themound...great power and defensive skills. AT USF(2005): Named to All-WCC First Team as a sophomore... wasnamed WCC Player of the Week four times (2/15, 3/22, 4/26, 5/10)and WCC Pitcher of the Week once (4/5)...played in 47 games with 43starts...as a batter, led the team in homeruns (7) and was amongthe top five in 11 other categories...had three four-game hitstreaks (2/8-12, 3/24-4/2, 5/17-22) and one five-game hit streak(5/3-13)...had best game April 22 vs. Loyola Marymount where hewent 3-for-4 with a double, two homeruns and four RBI...as apitcher made 15 appearances, 14 as a starter where he averaged morethan six innings per start...was second on the team with an 8-5record, second in innings pitched with 95.1, second in strike outswith 76, and fourth in ERA with 2.64.
