GENERAL CAPSULE: Powerful right handedhitter... will be a leader on the team... good defensive catcher...can also pitch out of the bullpen... has 88-92 MPH fastball...great slider. AT USF (2006): Appeared in 46 gameswith 34 starts as a junior... hit first home run of the year at Cal(2/7)... was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run against SanJose State (2/14)... had two hits, an RBI and two runs againstGeorgetown (3/10)... homered and drove in two runs at New Mexico(3/18)... hit a towering three-run homer in the fourth inning ofthe Inaugural Dante Benedetti Classic at AT&T Park (4/25)...was 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored againstUC Davis (5/2)... went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI, two runs anda walk at Cal (5/9)... finished 2-for-4 with an RBI against LoyolaMarymount (5/13)... collected a season high four hits againstHawai'i (5/16), with two doubles and three RBI.
