Men's Basketball Student Seating
New Student Seating Policy
The University of San Francisco Athletics Department will institute a new student ticketing policy for all home men's basketball games effective immediately. The new policy is outlined in the bullets below:
- All students must enter War Memorial Gymnasium at the SE ground-level entrance closest to Gillson Hall. They must present their student ID for free admittance.
- If you want to enter the lower level student section for a men's basketball game (Sections A and B), you must show your student ID at the glass doors in the NE corner of the arena on the court level.
- Students will not be allowed to enter the lower sections of War Memorial Gymnasium through any other doors.
- The lower level student section door/entrance will be monitored by Guest Services staff as well as USF full-time staff.
- Guest Services staff and USF full-time staff will work together to determine when the lower level student section is full and when it is deemed full, all students will be directed to the general admission seating on the second level.
- Guest Services staff will monitor the section throughout the game to ensure that no students are sitting in any other lower sections (including Section C).
- Guest Services staff will monitor the section throughout the game to ensure that only students are sitting in the student section.
- Should seats open up in the lower level student section during the game, additional students will be admitted into the section.
- There will no longer be wristbands required to enter the lower level student section.
The new student seating policy is designed to ensure that all students have a fair chance at the lower level student seats. These seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis so we encourage you to get to the games as early as possible. The student entrance will open one hour prior to tip-off unless otherwise specified.
