2011 WEST COAST CONFERENCE ALL-FRESHMAN TEAM

IN 2011 POSTSEASON: Averaged 12.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game… scored back-to-back driving lay-ups to bring the Dons back from down three points to up one in closing minute at Hawaii (3/19/11)… finished with 13 points, three rebounds and three assists in come-from-behind 77-74 win against the Rainbow Warriors… turned in sensational 18-point, 10-assist night against Santa Clara (3/22/11) for second double-double night of the season… registered career-high 10 assists against the Broncos… scored five points with six rebounds and seven assists in first round 81-73 win against Idaho (3/16/11).

AT USF 2010-11: (7.7 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 3.5 APG, 1.2 SPG) turned in outstanding freshman campaign for san Francisco, starting all 34 contests for the Green and Gold… elevated game for 2011 West Coast Conference season, averaging 8.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists… led the Dons in assists (3.5) and steals (1.2 … ranked seventh among WCC leaders in assists (3.5) and was fourth in assist/turnover ratio (1.9)… rated seventh in assists during league play (3.5), 10th in 3-point field goal percentage at .378 (14-37), sixth in assist/turnover ratio (1.8) and eighth in steals (1.4)… scored a career-high 23 points on .636 (7-11) from the field with four rebounds and two assists in a thrilling 96-91 overtime triumph against defending league champion Gonzaga (1/22/11)… posted first of two double-double nights with 20 points and a career-high 10 rebounds against Holy Names (12/1/10 … scored 14 points with five rebounds in crucial 81-74 road win at Portland (2/17/11)… chipped in 17 points on .625 (5-8) from the field at Cal State Bakersfield (12/4/10)… dished out nine assists to go along with five points and two steals against Colorado State (12/28/10)… scored six points with eight assists and five rebounds against Loyola Marymount (2/26/11)… reached double-digit scoring in 10 games… dished at least five assists in 10 contests… led USF in assists 15 times in first season on the Hilltop… became first Dons rookie to earn WCC All-Freshman team selection since Myron Strong in 2008.

PREP CAREER: A highly decorated prep perimeter player… named All-Central Texas Player of the Year after leading Westlake High School to its first district title since 2003… two-time District 25-5A MVP averaged 19.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.5 assists as a senior for the Chaparrals… departed campus as the school’s career scoring and assist leader… led Westlake to a 26-8 record during the 2008 09 campaign under the direction of head coach Tres Ellis… averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists as a junior and was a deadly shooter from 3-point range, converting on  .450 from long distance… captured All-CenTex honors from Texas Basketball Inc… was ranked in the top-20 in the 2009 class according to Texas Hoops… named the Austin Statesman’s 2010 Preseason Player of the Year.
