2020-21 (RS JUNIOR): Appeared in one game...logging a minute of action in the win over Long Beach State...grabbed a rebound and was 0-for-1 from the field in that contest.
2019-20 (RS SOPHOMORE) Made his collegiate debut in the Dons win over Pacific in the quarterfinals of the WCC Tournament...played in the final 26 seconds, did not attempt a field goal.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Lettered in both basketball and track and field at International High School in San Francisco...played basketball all four years for the Jaguars under head coach Frank Williams and Paul Cortes...was a two-time all league honoree...he was named the BCL Central MVP his senior season after earning All-BCL West Second Team honors as a junior...his senior season he averaged 18 points per game and 10 rebounds per contest as he helped guided his team to a BCL Central Championship and an appearance at the North Coast Section playoffs...also played AAU basketball and was a member of the Bay City AAU team...parents are Joy and Emmanuel Nwabueze...has two older siblings a sister named Onye and a brother named Samuel...Onye ran track at Occidental College...chose USF because he wanted to play for his city...hobbies include shoe collecting, basketball and baseball
