An athletic, shotblocking presence inside. bulked up in offseason and should contribute, especially on the defensive end...very quick and runs the floor very well.
JUNIOR: After suffering an injury that forced him to miss all of preseason condition, Mamadou saw most of his minutes and all four of his starts before the arrival of Bayless and Broussard last season...averaged 0.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in an average of just 6.8 minutes per contest...scored a career high six points in loss at Sacramento State...played double figures in minutes in five ofthe first six games, but never thereafter...played 28 minutes in game at Sacramento State, and 24 each in games at Seton Hall and vs. Nevada.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Averaged 12 points and pulled 8 rebounds per game at John Wood CC in Carterville, Ill...named all CCCI and all-region...also named to Dean's list.
HIGH SCHOOL: attended Lycee De Fosse High School in Senegal...after graduation would like to return to Senegal and be a scientist.
