Born and raised in Olathe, Kansas, Stephanie has been invested in sports her whole life. Stephanie established her love for sports medicine after working closely with her high school’s athletic trainer. Since then, she has been driven to provide outstanding medical care to high performing athletes, while also reaching beyond the average expectations of a health care provider. After being promoted to USF Co-Head Athletic Trainer in the summer of 2016, Stephanie has broken through barriers to achieve her status as a clinician and collegiate athletics administrator. She continues to focus on the enhancement of her craft, while also working to expand her management and leadership skillset.

At USF, Stephanie is the primary Athletic Trainer for the Don’s Men’s Soccer team. Educated in Postural Restoration, Muscle Energies, and Functional Movement Assessments, she believes that the body is a cooperative unit and therefore should be treated and rehabilitated like one. She relies heavily on functional movements and pain patterns to guide her evaluations and treatments for student athletes. Stephanie believes the healthcare of a student athlete is paramount, and operates under the philosophy of “Cura Personalis”.
