2014 Track & Field: Competed twice for USF...Posted a mark of 4:02.99 in the 1,500 meters at the SF State Distance Carnival on April 4...Took 25th in the 5,000 meters at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational on April 25, clocking in at 15:27.48.
2013 Cross Country: Competed in six meets for the Dons...Posted a season-best 8K time of 25:04 at the Sac State Inter-Regional on Oct. 4, finishing 54th...Took 48th at teh WCC CHampionships on Nov. 2, clocking in with a time of 26:03 for the Dons.
2013 Track & Field: Competed in six meets at three distances in his first year of collegiate track...Turned in a season-best time of 4:02.11 in the 1,500 meters at the Johnny Mathis Invitational on March 23...Opened the season by winning heat two at of the 3,000 meters at the West Coast Quad with a time of 8:41.6...Took 16th in the 5,000 meters at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational on March 29, with a time of 15:13.32.
2012 Cross Country: Competed in three meets for the Dons…Saved his best race for last finishing the West Coast Conference Championships 8k as the 7th fastest runner for USF with a time of 26:13, his fastest race of the year (10/27).
High School and Personal: Finished 22nd at 2011 California Division IV Cross Country State Championships...Placed 7th at the Stanford Invitational 5k-XC with a time of 15:56, and 3rd at CCS Finals in 15:47...On the track, he finished 23rd at 2012 Track and Field State Championship in the 3200 with a time of 9:35.62, SCCAL Champion in 3200, SCCAL runner up in 1600, 3rd at Centennial Invitational with a time of 8:40.02 in the 3200...Majoring in kinesiology...Son of Ginette and Todd Hicks...His brother, Jacob, runs cross country and track for Portland State University...Enjoys playing video games and hanging out at the beach.
