- All-WCC Second Team - 2018-19
2018-19 (SENIOR): Was named to the all-West Coast Conference second team after leading the Dons in scoring (15.0 points per game), rebounding (5.6 per game), assists (3.3 per game) and steals (2.0 per game) ... At season's end, Powell stood as one of just four players in the WCC ranked among the top-20 in scoring and rebounding, and top-15 in assists and steals. She finished tied for seventh in the WCC in scoring, tied for fourth in steals, tied for 12th in assists and tied for 17th in rebounding ... Started in 30 of USF's 31 games while serving as the veteran leader for a team that featured eight true freshmen and two other redshirt underclassmen ... Scored double-digit points in 26 games, including a streak of 17 straight from Dec. 1 to Feb. 9 ... Had three consecutive 20-point performances and four in five games from Dec. 5-29, including a career-high 31 points on Dec. 21 in a double-overtime game versus North Dakota at the Hatter Classic in Deland, Fla. ... Posted 15 games with at least seven rebounds, with a season-high of nine on two occasions ... Nearly went for a triple-double versus BYU on New Year's Eve, scoring 12 points, dishing nine assists and pulling down seven rebounds.
2017-18 (JUNIOR): Started 29 of USF's 31 contests in her first year on The Hilltop, finishing among the top-three for the Dons in numerous categories, including scoring (3rd, 12.2 ppg), 3-point percentage (3rd, 35.8%), free-throw percentage (3rd, 76.5%), rebounds (3rd, 5.3 per game), assists (2nd, 3.0 per game) and steals (1st, 1.3 per game) ... Had 19 games in which she scored double-digit points, 14 games with at least seven rebounds and eight games with five or more assists ... Had two 20-point games: a 21-point performance at Saint Mary's on Feb. 15 and a season-high 24 points against Loyola Marymount on March 1 in the first round of the WCC Tournament in Las Vegas ... Tallied her first career double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds on Nov. 15 versus Washington State - just her second game as a Don ... Made her USF debut on Nov. 10 with 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists in an 83-71 win over Cal Poly ... Posted 12 games with multiple steals, including a season-high four takeaways at BYU on Jan. 4.
PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Spent two seasons at Cochise College ... Earned second team All-ACCAC and second team All-Region 1 honors as a sophomore in 2016-17, helping lead the Apaches to a 28-4 record, the best in program history ... Averaged 10.5 points per game while shooting 48.9 percent from the field ... Posted averages of 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest while connecting at a 35.4% clip from the perimeter ... Tallied a season-high of 21 points on two occasions in 2016-17 as she helped Cochise remain ranked among the national top-25 all year and earn a top-16 national finish.
