(San Francisco) – The University of San Francisco celebrated the accomplishments of some of its best and brightest at the 2010 Fr. Hubert "Hub" Flynn Hall of Fame Dinner Saturday Night as part of the Fall Fest Weekend. Four USF student-athletes and one family were inducted in an outstanding tribute in front of more than 200 friends, family, supporters and alumni.

USF Legend of the Hilltop and three-time baseball All-American Taggert Bozied ('01), World Figure Skating Hall-of-Famer Richard Dwyer ('74), basketball star Mark McCathrion and career soccer scoring leader Dag Olavson ('80) comprised the four-member Class of 2010, the 51st overall. In addition, the Callan Family – Terry, Gail and Ryan – received the inaugural "Don of the Year Award" for sterling service to USF Athletics.

After a video tribute celebrating their accomplishments on the field and off, each inductee spoke and reminisced about their experiences representing the Green and Gold. Each member of the hall of fame class of 2010 touched on some of the core values of Jesuit education. Bozied emphasized family, Dwyer spoke about education and Olavson spoke about the importance of the team. McCathrion was unable to attend but his coach, USF Hall-of-Famer Jim Brovelli, discussed his former star's dedication to the program.
