Box Score (San Francisco) – San Francisco men's soccer concluded a busy stretch with a hard-fought scoreless West Coast Conference deadlock against Bay Area rival Saint Mary's on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Negoesco Stadium. Both the Dons (5-4-2, 3-0-1 WCC) and Gaels (3-3-4, 2-0-2 WCC) remain unbeaten in league play.

It was the fourth game in nine days for the young Dons and the third requiring at least one overtime session. USF has posted a season-long six-match unbeaten streak.

Junior goalkeeper Brendan Roslund (5-3-2) and the USF defense remained stout and have not allowed an opponent to score in the last 279:03 of action. Roslund collected eight saves on 19 shots by the Gaels.

San Francisco developed several quality chances throughout the contest but trailed Saint Mary's in shots (19-11) and corner kicks (6-1). Freshman striker Miguel Aguilar fired a team-high four shots, three on target. Jose Cabeza blasted a match-high seven shots, four on frame for the Gaels.

San Francisco travels to Southern California to take on San Diego and Loyola Marymount in continuing WCC action. The Dons tackle the Toreros Friday, October 14 at 7:00 p.m. and then square off against the Lions Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
