USF OPENS HOMESTAND VS. PACIFIC UNION: San Francisco opens a three-game homestand Sunday afternoon against Pacific Union. The Dons look to improve to 7-3 in their first 10 games of the 2011-12 season at the expense of the Pioneers (0-8) of the California Pacific Conference (NAIA).

Rashad Green collected some more hardware after averaging 17.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game at the Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout. Green was named to the Shootout All-Tournament squad and the Jesuit Spotlight Team of the Week.
DONS ADD MORGAN STATE TO THE 2011-12 SCHEDULE: San Francisco has added a quality non-conference game to the schedule. The Dons will host Morgan State Tuesday, January 3 in a 7:00 PM tip-off from War Memorial Gym. The Bears, under the direction of former Cal head coach Todd Bozeman, posted a 17-14 record last season and a 10-6 slate in the MEAC.
