USF TRAVELS NORTH: San Francisco travels to the Pacific Northwest to take on Seattle U. Saturday, November 19 in its first road contest of the 2011-12 season. Game time against the Redhawks is set for 3:00 PM in a game televised on a tape-delayed basis on ROOT Sports, starting at 4:00 PM from Elgin Baylor Court at Key Arena. After a long hiatus in the series, this will be the second meeting in as many seasons. The Dons posted a 97-67 triumph last year in the season opener for both squads.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE DONS: San Francisco held on for a wild 83-81 overtime victory against longtime Bay Area rival San Jose State Wednesday at War Memorial Gym. The Dons used a late rally to force overtime and fought off a late Spartan charge to collect their third consecutive win. Senior forward Angelo Caloiaro posted his second consecutive double-double with a 19-point, 13-rebound night, while junior forward Perris Blackwell added 18 points and six rebounds for the Green and Gold.

THE LAST TIME: The last time San Francisco earned a road win in its first game away from War Memorial came in the Dons' first game under head coach Rex Walters. USF posted a 75-70 victory at Hawaii in the first game of the Verizon Tip-off Classic.

Seattle U. held a 32-27 lead at the half but could not get the victory despite shooting .500 (14-28) from the floor after the intermission and scoring 23 points off Viking turnovers. Senior forward Aaron Broussard leads the way offensively at 17.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while sophomore forward Clarence Trent adds 16.0 points and 4.0 rebounds.
