USF HEADS TO PACIFIC NORTHWEST: San Francisco returns to the road for a trip to the Pacific Northwest. The Dons take on defending league champion Gonzaga in a game televised live nationally on ESPNU. Tip-off against the Zags is set for 7:00 PM from the McCarthey Athletic Center in a game carried live on 95.7 The GAME.

Angelo Caloiaro enters Thursday's game at Gonzaga ranked No. 27 on the USF career scoring list with 1,070 points (9.4 ppg). Next up is All-American and NBA Don James Hardy (195-78) with 1,075 (13.4 ppg).

SCOUTING GONZAGA: The Bulldogs enter the fourth week of West Coast Conference play with a 14-3 overall record and a 4-1 league slate after suffering a road split last week. Gonzaga dropped a 83-62 decision at WCC-leading Saint Mary's before bouncing back for a 62-58 victory against Loyola Marymount at Gersten Pavilion on Saturday. The loss to the Gaels snapped an eight-game winning streak. The Bulldogs posted a 10-2 non-conference record with their only losses coming to NCAA Tournament stalwarts Illinois (82-75) and Michigan State (74-67). Freshman guard Kevin Pangos leads the way for the Zags offensively at 13.8 points per game, while junior Elias Harris adds 13.4 points and a team-high 7.0 rebounds. Mark Few is in his 13th year as the head coach and owns a remarkable 330-86 record. Few has guided the Zags into 12 straight NCAA Tournaments and 11 WCC Championships. Gonzaga posted a 25-10 record, 11-3 in league play last season.
CALOIARO JOINS ELITE GROUP: Senior forward
Angelo Caloiaro joined an elite group when he surpassed 1,000 career points on New Year's Eve against Loyola Marymount in the 2011-12 West Coast Conference home opener. Caloiaro scored a game-high 26 points and became the 31st player in program history to score more than 1,000 points for the Green and Gold, finishing the night with 1,005.
