(San Francisco) - The University of San Francisco men's tennis team finished the 2012 spring campaign Thursday, dropping a 4-0 decision to fourth-seeded Brigham Young University in the second round of the West Coast Conference Championships. The Dons entered the event seeded eighth and defeated fifth seeded Loyola Marymount.

The Cougars started out on a strong start, taking two of three doubles matches. The third doubles match was not finished to do weather and time constraints. Jonathan Knowlman and Germain Bahri posted a close contest at No. 2, but were unable to up-end their foes, falling 8-6.

The Dons struggles continued in singles action, as the Cougars swept through three points to take the match. All three BYU contests were won in straight sets.
