Improved to 6-4 overall with a 77-48 home victory over Nicholls State on Saturday in Memorial Gymnasium...Cole Dickerson scored a game-high 20 points while Tim Derksen added 15 to pace USF scoring.

TIP-OFF: The USF Dons (6-4, 0-0 WCC) head east to face the St. John's Red Storm (6-3, 0-0 BIG EAST) Wednesday night at Carnesecca Arena in Queens, NY. The Dons are coming off a 77-48 victory last Saturday vs. Nicholls State, while the Red Storm dropped a 68-63 decision to No. 2 Syracuse Sunday at Madison Square Garden.
SERIES HISTORY: St. John's leads the all-time series vs. USF, 4-3. The Dons posted a 81-65 victory over the Red Storm on Dec. 4 of last season in San Francisco. In its last visit to Queens, USF dropped a 92-77 to St. John's on Dec. 31, 2000. In addition to last years victory, USF's other two wins in the series came in 1969-70 (67-60) and 1976-77 (80-70). St. John's claimed wins in 1949-50 (60-44), 1950-51 (67-47) and 1995-96 (80-78).
LAST YEAR'S MEETING: De'End Parker scored a team-high 21 points while Cody Doolin added 18 to go along with a career-high 16 assists to lead USF to a 81-65 victory over St. John's on Dec. 4, 2012 in San Francisco. USF was nursing a three-point lead at 59-56 with 7:41 remaining before seizing control of the game with a 15-4 run to take a 74-60 lead with 2:21 left.
Mark Tollefsen came off the bench to score 11 points while
Tim Derksen added 10 as the Dons won their fifth straight game. JaKarr Sampson had 22 points while D'Angelo Harrison added 14 to pace the Red Storm.
