Final Round Results
HONOLULU -- USF's women's golf team wrapped up play at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational today by posting a final round score of 321 to finish in 10th place with a 54-hole score of 936 (+72).
Arizona ran away from the field to claim the team title with a score of 875 (+11), 25 strokes clear of second place Ohio State (900; +36). Gonzaga finished third at 902 followed by Ole Miss (913) and Washington State (914).
Manon Gidali of Arizona claimed medalist honors with a 54-hole score of 213 (-3), good for a two stroke victory over Amy Meier of Ohio State, Patricia Garcia of Arizona and Sammi Stevens of New Mexico.
USF was paced by freshman Emelie Lundstrom, who followed rounds of 74-73 with 76 over the final 18 holes to finish 10th at 223 (+7).
Peppiina Kaija shot a final round 83 and tied for 28th at 232 (+16).
Senior
Eyglo Oskarsdottir turned in her best round of the tournament on Wednesday, making four birdies en route to a final round 76. She tied for 41st at 235 (+19).
Victoria House finished 78th at 251 (+35) after a final round 91 while
Michelle Condry shot an 86 on Wednesday to finish 81st at 253 (+37).
