WCC Championships Final Round Results
BREMERTON, Wash. -- USF's women's golf team finished fifth at the WCC Championships which wrapped up play on Wednesday at the Gold Mountain Golf Club outside of Seattle.
The Dons shot a team score of 322 over their final round to post a 965 (+101) for the 54-hole event, finishing 25 strokes behind fourth-place Santa Clara (940).
Pepperdine claimed its 12th straight WCC title with a 19-over score of 883, good for a 16-stroke victory over second place Gonzaga. BYU finished third at 928 followed by Santa Clara, USF and affiliate member Cal State-Bakersfield (1018).
Grace Na of Pepperdine won the individual title, her second in three years, with a three-under score of 213 to earn a two-stroke victory over Gonzaga's Raychelle Santos.
Junior Peppiina Kaija was USF's top finisher, tying for 10th at 233 (+17) after a final round 78. She was one-under par on her final round after the first nine holes but opened the backside with four straight bogeys. She picked up a double bogey on 17 and bogeyed the par-4 18th to finish with a 78.
Victoria House finished 23rd at 244 (+28) after a final round 80.
Michelle Condry shot a final round 83 to tie for 24th at 246 (+30) while freshman Emelie Lundstrom finished 25th at 247 (+31) after turning in an 81 on Wednesday.
Senior Eyglo Oskarsdottir tied for 26th at 254 (+38) after a final round 88.
